In order to reduce heat loss, the gap between the roof structure and the window fram needs to be insulated.
The BDX 2000 comprises of three original Velux installation products - Insulation Collar (BDX), Underfelt Collar (BFX) and drainage gutter. Together they seal and insulate around the window externally.
The Insulation Collar optimises the insulation around the window frame by preventing heat loss and eliminating cold bridges.
Makes positioning the window in the roof and installing the window a simple process.

The BDX cannot be used with EDN and EDJ recessed flashings.
